At the point of raising a credit note, there's "Attach to a fee note" field that will require you to select a fee note to be credited in the drop down. 

NB: Only approved fee notes will show in the drop down. 

       Only when a credit note is approved that the fee note is credited. 


Please follow the below steps:

 

  1. Log into the system
  2. Go to Client Invoicing module under Fee Notes/Credit Notes section
  3. Click on the Credit Notes link to view all the credit notes raised in the system
  4. Go to the specific credit note you will to attach an invoice, click on the Action button against it and select the Edit option
  5. A form will pop out containing the credit note’s details, scroll down to the Attach to fee Note drop down and select the fee note
  6. Click on the Save Credit Note button to submit
