To make a payment or transfer funds within the system, please follow the steps below:
- Log into the system using your assigned credentials.
- From the main dashboard, locate “Client Transactions” module.
- Under the Client Transactions section, click on “Transactions (Payments/Transfers)”, then select “File Payments/Transfers” from the dropdown list.
- You will be directed to the File Payments/Transfers form. Kindly fill in all the required details accurately. These typically include:
- Date: The specific day the transaction is being carried out.
- Type of Transaction: The category of transaction being performed. Examples include: (Payment Transaction, Account Transfer, File-to-File Transfer, Disbursement as a Service)
- Item Type: This refers to the nature of the item being processed.
- Client: The name of the client associated with the transaction.
- File: The specific case file linked to the transaction.
- Account Type: Identifies the kind of account involved in the transaction
- Account to withdraw from: his is the actual bank or internal account from which the money will be deducted or moved.
- Currency: The currency in which the transaction is being carried out (e.g., KES, USD, GBP)
- Description: A brief explanation or purpose of the transaction.
- Authorized Amount: The maximum amount that has been approved for the transaction.
- Receiver: The name or details of the person, organization, or entity receiving the funds.
5. Once all the necessary information has been entered, click on the “Execute” button to process the transaction.

The below are the meanings of the different types of transaction
- Payment transaction - A payment transaction involves the transfer of money from one party (the payer) to another (the payee) as a result of a i.e. paying for court fees
- Account transfer - An account transfer is the movement of funds from one account to another
- File to file transfer - transfer involves the movement of funds from one file to another
- Disbursement as a service – This involves outsourcing the distribution of funds related to legal activities to a third-party service provider i.e. court fees
