Reversing a receipt means cancelling a previously issued receipt. This may be necessary if there was an error in the original transaction, such as an incorrect amount. You must have the receipt number to initiate a reversal.


Steps to Reverse a Receipt:

  1. Log in to the system using your assigned credentials.
  2. On the main dashboard, navigate to the “Client Invoicing & Receipts” module.
  3. Under the Client Invoicing section, click on “Receipts”, then select “Reverse Receipt” from the dropdown menu.
  4. You will be directed to the Reverse Receipt form. Enter the required details, including the receipt number.
  5. Click the “Submit” button to proceed.
  6. The system will display the transaction details of the selected receipt.
    • In the comments section, provide a clear reason for reversing the receipt.
    • Select the appropriate approver from the list.
    • Click “Submit” to forward the reversal request for approval.

The reversal action will only be completed once it has been reviewed and approved by the assigned approver.
