Steps:
- Use your assigned credentials to access the TeakLaw system.
- On the dashboard, click on the “Case Management” module.
- Under Case Management, select “Client & Matters.”
- From the dropdown menu, click on “File Progress/Bring Ups.”
- A list of all existing file progress updates will be displayed. Click the “Add New Progress” button.
- Select “Add File Progress & B/Up.” This will open a form where you can enter the progress details.
- Fill out the form with the following details:
- Date of Progress:
Select the date the action was taken. - Client:
Choose the client associated with the matter. - File:
Select the specific file you are updating. - Action Description:
Briefly describe what action was completed. - Time Taken:
Enter the duration spent (in hours and minutes). - Next Action (Way Forward):
Provide a brief description of the next step to be taken. - Next Bring Up Date:
Choose the date you want to be reminded to follow up on the matter. - Reminder Period (Days):
Specify how many days before the bring-up date the reminder should be triggered. - Send Reminder To:
Select the individual(s) who should receive the reminder notification.
8. After filling in all the required fields, review the information and then click “Add Action” to complete the process.
Note: The same procedure applies when adding either a Progress Only or a Bring Up Only entry.
