How to post petty cash payments

These transactions are often for day-to-day expenses that occur frequently and need to be addressed quickly.

 

Steps:

 

  1. Log into the system
  2. Locate and click on the Office Administration module
  3. Click on the Transactions (payments/transfers) section
  4. Select Petty Cash Payments from the presented options
  5. This directs you to Petty Cash Payments form. Complete the form by filling in all the necessary details accordingly i.e. date, client, file (if the payment is associated with a file), petty cash account, expense account, description, net amount etc.  Click on Add Item (green button)


6. Once done click on the Execute button to complete posting



7. This displays a petty cash voucher. The print option is available should you need a print out.
