This process involves evaluating or assessing the performance, behavior, skills, qualities or value of individuals. The purpose of appraising others is to provide feedback on their performance, capabilities and characteristics. This evaluation process may involve observing behaviors, reviewing work outputs, conducting assessments or gathering feedback from relevant stakeholders.
Steps:
1. Go to the “HR & Payroll” module
2. Under “HR Add – Ons” click on “Hr Appraisal” link
3. Locate and click on “Appraise Others button
4. This takes you a page with details of the staffs you need to appraise and has the details of the first appraiser and second appraiser and the appraisal score
5. To appraise a staff, select the specific staff then click on the Action menu at the far right.
6. Select Appraise Staff on the available options, the populates Performance Appraisal Questions Form containing the appraisee details
7. Proceed with assessing his/her performance the “Submit” once done. This gives you the total ratings on the form.
8. To write a review scroll down on the Performance Appraisal Questions Form. Locate "Supervisor Comment" then click on the Plus sign feature. Post your comments on the pop up Supervisors Comment form and submit once done. This now awaits the Second Appraiser's review.
