WAKILICMS VERSION 6.4.2 This is our new version that will be update in the month of November 2018. NEW ENHANCEMENTS: - Quick Menu and Add-On tab at the top right hand corner of the screen
- Quick Menu contains links to commonly used forms
- The Add-on Tab contains additional modules including tender management bulk email module
- All “Action” drop-down buttons, accessible in reports and various lists (e.g. client list, file list etc.) will have additional drop-down links for Comments and Attachments among many other shortcut links.
- Use the Comment form to write a comment about the item selected
- Use the Attachment form to upload a document for the item selected
- The Client Management Module:
- You can now print Engagement Letters and Recommendation Letters for your client. These 2 items are found in the client List under the “Action” tab alongside each record.
- An additional column for Services offered showing you all the types of files the client has engaged you in (e.g. conveyancing, litigation etc.)
- A way of posting important dates (e.g. anniversary dates, birthdays etc.) for different clients and have them appear in the main calendar. This item is also found in the client List under the “Action” tab alongside each record.
- You can now search clients based on file type to know the number of clients in every file category.
- Automatically converted prospective customers to clients without re-entering the client details again. This item is found in the “Customer List” under the “Action” tab.
- File and Office Instructions Module:
- You can upload attachments / documents (e.g. receipts) to an instruction items. This can be done at any time or before an instruction is completed locking it such that the instruction cannot be completed before receipts of the transaction has been uploaded.
- You can now update a file and post a “File Closing Summary” at the point of closing the file. When you close a file (moving file from Open to Pending Closure state), you’ll be prompted to input a closing summary.
- We are now able to store hourly rates for every file action / progress posted. This allows us to calculate the Charge-Out rate sowing you how much you should have charged during that month. For this to be accurate the time taken to post progress / actions has be accurate. Also all users’ hourly rates should be mapped in the system.
- Document Template / Assembly Module:
- Store templates of different day-to-day documents
- Ability to generate documents using the document template stored
- Fee Notes/ Credit Note / Quotations:
- Ability to customize the billing address in fee notes, credit notes and quotations
- Reports:
- Ability to select Date ranges as well as maximum date in debtor’s reports
- Payment-update report for fee notes showing when payments were made for the respective fee note. Under the “Action” Tab alongside each fee note, click “Payment Update Slip” to view the report.
- Summary of Expenses Report that summarizes expenses based on different expense groups.
- A “Contracted” report option for Income and Expenditure report.
- A “Summary” report option for Balance Sheet.
- An “Expanded” report option for Statement of Account
- Additional option of “File Type” in invoice billing and collection reports
- Additional option of “Item Type” in the Payment report to track client direct and indirect costs.
- Advocate performance report now shows the Charge-Out Rate.
- End Year A/C Preparations module has been re-customized. Accountants should close the books of accounts once all transactions for the previous year have been posted.
- Leave approval matrix has been enhanced to allow for different supervisors to recommend and approve leave for different staff members.
- General Ledger (G/L) bank statements can now be viewed based on receipt and cheque numbers and not only reference numbers.
- There is now a Combined and Separate view of the Bank Reconciliation module.
- 2 additional calendars have been included in the main calendar. These are “Important Dates” & ”CPD / CLE” calendars.
