Staff members are entitled to annual leave, sick leave, Study Leave, Compassionate Leave, Unpaid leave, Paternity or Maternity Leave, CLE leave.
Annual Leave – yearly allocation of some days to go and relax. Usually 21day/year
Sick Leave – Just in case the employee falls ill they are entitled to sick leave days to get well and probably seek medical attention. Usually 7days/year
Compassionate Leave - For any unforeseen emergencies such as to visit a sickly relative. Usually 5days/year.
Unpaid Leave – Just in case leaves allocated are exhausted but there is still need to be on leave. Or a circumstance where an employee takes time off from work, still retains the job but receives no salary. Usually 7 days/year.
Maternity/Paternity Leave – these stretch immediately before and after childbirth. With full pay. Usually 90days for ladies, 14days for men.

  1. Log in to the sytem.
  2. Select HR & Payroll tab.
  3. Under the Staff Management section click the My Leave Applications.
  4. This opens the My Leave Applications - year page which contains a record of all the leave applications applied so far by the user. You can also view this list for a different year by clicking on that year at the top of the application list.
     From here we can;
  5. Apply for Leave either Apply Full Days or Apply Half Days.
  6. Fill in the pop out leave application form accordingly, select the Recommender/Approver for approval
  7. Click on the Submit button once you are done to save
