Steps:
1. Use your assigned credentials to log into the system.
2. On the dashboard, go to the Case Management module on EliteLaw. If using WakiliCMS system go to File Management Module
3. Click on Maintenance, then select Manage Files from the available options..
4. A list of all registered files will appear on your screen.
5. To add a sub file, click the Open New File button. This will open the file registration form.
6. Complete the form by entering the following information:
Client: The name of the client for whom the file is being opened. This should match the main client associated with the primary file.
File type: The category of the file (e.g. Litigation).
Associate handling: The staff member responsible for managing the sub file
Sub File of : This indicates the main file that the sub file is related to. Select the main file from the list this helps link the sub file to its corresponding main file.
File reference number: A unique identification number for the sub file.
File name/subject: A brief title of the sub file to reflect its purpose
Approval partner: The partner who has approval authority over the sub file.
7. Once all details are filled in, click Open File to save the sub file to the system.
To View a Sub Files:
1. Search for the Main File. Use the search function to locate the main file.
2. Click on the Action dropdown menu next to the at the far right of the file. Select the View Sub Files option to display and access all associated sub files.
