Steps:

1. Log in to the system.
2. From the main dashboard, go to the Tools & Add-Ons module.
3. Under the Fixed Asset Management section, click on Manage Assets Types.
4. To add a new asset type, click on the Add Asset Type button located at the top-left corner of the page.
5. A form will appear. Complete the required fields by entering:
   • Category – Select the relevant asset category.
   • Asset Type Name – Enter the name of the asset type.

6. Click Submit to save the new asset type.

The new asset type will then be added to the system and will be available for use when registering and managing fixed assets.
