Steps:

Log into the system
Go to Tools and Add-ons module
Under Local Fixed Asset Management, click on the “Manage Assets Categories” link
Fill in the following details in the pop out form Category name and asset value change (appreciation or depreciation)
Click on the “Submit” button to save once you are done
