This section allows you to create and manage categories for the firm's assets. You can also indicate whether the value of assets within a category may change through appreciation or depreciation.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the system.
  2. From the main dashboard, go to the Tools & Add-Ons module.
  3. Under the Fixed Asset Management section, click on Manage Assets Categories.
  4. To add a new asset category, complete the form provided by entering the following details:
    • Category Name – Enter the name of the asset category.
    • Asset Value Change – Select the applicable option to indicate whether the asset value can change through Appreciation or Depreciation.
  1. Click Submit to save the new asset category.

The asset category will then be added to the system and available for use when recording and managing fixed assets.
