Steps:


  1. Log in to the system
  2. Select HR & Payroll tab.
  3. Under the Staff Management section click the My Leave Applications.
  4. This opens the My Leave Applications - year page which contains a record of all the leave applications applied so far by the user.
  5. At the top of the applications list are several huge buttons each representing the leave type and within it balances on the same. At the bottom of each button there is the apply part. Click this part on the leave type you’d wish to take.
  6. This opens either the Apply for Annual Leave - Full Day(s) page or the Apply for Annual Leave - Half Day page depending on the choice selected.
    Example of Full day leave is say from 1 May 2021 to 1 May 2021 this is only 1 full day, on 1st of May 2021. Example of half Day leave is say on 1st May 2021 from 8AM to 1PM or from 1PM to 5PM. 
  7. Set the Staff Name: to the one requesting for the leave application, by default the current user is selected.
  8. Set the Start Date: field to day 1 of the leave being requested. This day is included in the leave to be take
  9. If half day was selected, then set Time of Leave: field to either the first half of the work day or the last half. 
  10. If Full Day was selected, set the End Date: field to the last day of the leave application. This day is part of the leave to be taken.
  11. Once the days have been set, you will have the system’s computed days set in the No. of Days Computed: field.
    The same number is also set in the No. of Days Applied: field.
  12. In the Comments: field, you can add a short description about the leave application, like why it is being taken. 
  13. In the Responsibility: field, write the work that may be pending or will require attention while you are on leave. Then select the Staff Member: who will be responsible for the work. Also make sure you leave enough details in person with the selected individual to allow an easier time executing the work.
  14. Under the Address During Leave: field, enter the details of the location you can be found for any emergency reasons.
  15. Also set the Telephone No.: you can be accessed with while on leave for emergency purposes.
  16. Set the Recommender:
  17. Click on the Submit button to register the application.
  18. Note: The leave application needs to be recommended and approved before you can go for it. Also depending on how it has been configured, you may be requested to apply for yourleave some days in advance.
